2:17 Oblivion Remastered Switch 2 PATCH 1.1 - The AFTERMATH in 3 Min

About this video
Bethesda's Patch 1.1 for Oblivion Remastered on Switch 2 fixed the crashes everyone was complaining about. It also quietly tanked daylight sharpness by 15-35%, and the official patch notes don't mention it once.
I tested both versions side by side — same console, same routes, same lighting conditions — and measured the difference instead of just eyeballing it.
The trade:
Loading hitches: down significantly in the heaviest-streaming scenes (biggest single improvement: 16 hard stutters → 2)
Daylight sharpness: down 15-35%, conservative measurement, checked three separate ways before trusting it (lighting confound, codec mismatch, and compression-artifact inflation all ruled out or corrected for)
Bethesda's patch notes: one visual bullet, a statue animation fix. No mention of DLSS, sharpening, or resolution scaling.
Full methodology, per-scene numbers, and the secondary upper-bound figure are in the pinned comment for anyone who wants the receipts.
