Some of y'all didn't grow up on Quake, and it shows.
Mr. DOOD is an American superstar, musician, OG gamer and commentator.
He grew up playing DOOM, Quake, and old RTS titles. That passion for giblets and high-energy games never faded, and he still plays DOOM, Quake, and RTS titles today.
In 2002, Mr. DOOD landed a copy of a game called Morrowind. He slept with the map and the manual. Between sessions, all he thought about was Vvardenfell and Cliff Racers, hence the never-ending demand for everything Elder Scrolls and Bethesda. Praise Todd.
All in all, he just wants to make videos about games, gameplay, and music.
On the channel
These days that's mostly Switch 2 performance analysis. Gameplay gets captured and run through custom Python scripts to measure what the game actually does: real frames, duplicate frames, stutter, blur, ghosting. It's compared against a high-end PC so you can see what you are really getting on the handheld. Sometimes the numbers prove me wrong, and I say so.
The other half is the fun stuff: character builds with a point (weak start, absurd payoff), quest deep dives, hidden secrets, and glitches. In Fallout 4 my settlements follow one rule: function before fashion.
The channel is growing into mods (the ones worth installing and the ones I build), gaming industry news, and the occasional live stream on Twitch. Follow if you love Nintendo Switch 2 and PC gaming.
